Hand painted cake plate 12" with Arabesco Turquoise decoration. The Arabesco decoration was born in the seventeenth century and depicts a bird hidden among undulating branches, with dense foliage, flowering branches and clumps of flowers. In this case it's made entirely with the turquoise color.

Every single plate is hand painted by our artists exclusively to order in our factory located in Deruta Italy.

All the products and colors we use are lead free and also meet California regulations (PROP65). Our plates are lead free and dishwasher safe.

The Fratelli Mari Company was founded in 1932, the year which production started. Today Fratelli Mari is one of the most prestigious companies of Deruta and its collection includes a great variety of classical and modern pieces, classified as : giftware, objects for home and kitchenware. Traditional forms/shapes with their timeless beauty account for a major part of the product line hand made at the Mari factory and they offer one of the best examples of the majolica tradition.
