Since The Middles Ages, the Tuscan town of Scarperia has been a famed center of knives and cutlery production. Coltelleria Saladini in Scarperia is one of only four workshops left still producing knives. Based on historical patterns and materials, the Saladini collection is immediately distinguished by a stylistic renewal of forms with a particular attention to detail and the whole production process.
Saladini’ s cutlery is made of forged stainless 18/10 steel. This kind of forged steel guarantees a good strength and a long duration because it is very resistant. The handle is made of natural materials and it is made from a whole piece of the chosen material because our experience suggests that a compact handle doesn’t allow the dirt or the water to seep into it. In this way the sauce ladle will be always clean and it will last longer
